Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka is an American British musician and sitarist. She was the first woman within her age bracket to be awarded an award from the British House of Commons Staff. Anoushka Shakar, a young rising superstar on the Indian Sitar is Anoushka. She's the child of Ravi Shankar and a former student. She was born in London in 1982. During during her early years, she swam between London New Delhi. At New Delhi, she made her first appearance at only 13 years of age. Then she relocated into Encinitas CA where she graduated from High School with honours in 1999. Anouskha's career as a musician and performer is impressive, despite her age. She performs regularly together with her dad, and has done so for many years. She released her first solo album Anourag in the year 1998. The album was titled Live at Carnegie Hall, a Grammy-nominated album a year after. The stage work she has done is broad as she's appeared in all of the biggest venues in the world. Anoushka Shankar's work isn't only limited to performing in music. Bapi: The Love of My Live is her 2002 memoir, that was a tribute Ravi Shankar. In 2003, she appeared as an Bharat natyam young dancer in Dance Like a Man. The career of Anoushka Shankar is in the process of developing and she is expected to accomplish many amazing things in the future. Anoushka Shakar, born in England was a major part of her adult life in London Delhi. Following her move to California she completed the high school. In Delhi at his 75thbirthday celebration she made her debut playing the sitar before the crowd of just four years after her 9-year-old father. The father of Anoushka travelled across the world with her and she was able to gain many new experiences. As she was teenagers, Anoushka performed at Carnegie Hall during Peter Gabriel's WOMAD concert. Her talent and musicality were recognised by British parliament as among the finest at Asian Arts.
