Aubrey Plaza
Aubrey Plaza, born on June 26, 1984 is a stand-up comedian and actor known for her witty sense of humor. She is April Ludgate in Parks and Recreation. It was on The Jeannie Tate Show the actress began her online show after performing sketch comedy as well as improvised and other forms of improvisation at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. In the following years, she appeared in Judd Apatow Funny People as in Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World. Today is her birthday. Aubrey Christina Plaza (born in Wilmington Delaware) is the child of Bernadette Plaza, who is an attorney by profession, and David Plaza a financial consultant. The mother of the child is Irish, English and Irish as is her father, who was Puerto Rican. Plaza received a degree at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and was a Catholic, all-girls secondary school, in the year 2006 following graduating in 2002. As an incoming senior at high school, Plaza participated at Wilmington Drama League shows and served as president of the student government. Plaza was struck by a stroke in 2004 when she was enrolled at college. She developed expressive aphasia and suffered a brief period of paralysis. Her recovery is complete. Since 2004 Plaza has been doing sketch and improv comedy in The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York City. In addition, she has been performing stand-up comedy at The Laugh Factory and The Improv in N.Y.C. Plaza was seen as Robin Gibney in E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street, The Jeannie Tate Show and in the premiere episode of Terrible Decisions starring Ben Schwartz. On CollegeHumor's Troopers she was the Princess, the satirical Sci-Fi character. Plaza was first seen playing saxophone alongside Cassorla's Bona Fide. She first appeared as a guest in the Father John Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings' in the year 2012. In 2016 Plaza appeared on HarmonQuest as Hawaiian Coffee a gnome. Also, she portrayed Aaron Burr in Drunk History and Cat Adams for Season 11 of C.B.S. The television show Criminal Minds. It was her first time returning for the character in Season 12 of the show. In the following year, it was confirmed Plaza was set to appear in the independent comedy An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn.
