Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actress. Her most famous role was as Skyler in the drama series of AMC, Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding supporting Performance on a a Drama Series for 2013 and 2014. In addition to playing Martha Bullock and Jean Ward She has also appeared on The Practice. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and fell in adore with acting during her time at the Preparatory School. In the late 70's, her family relocated to Ohio. She went to Northwestern University to study theatre as well as the British American Drama Academy. Anna worked by the theater in the Chicago area for several years, before attempting her hand at television as well as film roles. Anna had her biggest break in the year 1992, when she portrayed Arden in 29 episodes of Down the Shore. Anna continued to be in film and TV series such as Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and other shows until the end of the 1990's. Then she was selected for The Practice as Jean Ward. The role was played by Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons during the 2000s. The show was recast in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in the year 2008. Also, she starred in the Deadwood movie and Sully. Gunn was also in the David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. Gunn acted as Numbered Days, which is a four-part audio series that was released in 2022. Breaking Bad is often centered around the love story of Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their strained bond and eventual end resembles the last years of Walter White's life.
