The beauty of Alana De La Garza has made an impression even on tiny screens. In the year 1976, De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father and an Irish-American mom in Columbus Ohio. Then she began moving to Texas in search of an athletic therapy profession at the University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Orlando Florida and took on various acting roles in independent local films, as well as worldwide commercials. In spite of the minor parts, she realized that acting was her interest. Then she moved in New York. Her first acting gig was with the soap-opera All My Children. Through the early part of 2000, she played minor roles on JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004 she was cast as her first part of a series on The Mountain which was which was a television show that lasted only a few episodes. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. The character she's most remembered for was the A.D.A. character in Law & Order (2006). Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. Her character on the Law & Order: LA spinoff was a short-lived. The character of De La Garza received numerous nominations for the show, including Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She also received ALMA Award nods. In 2008, she won the Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. In the next few days, De La Garza was cast for CSI Miami in a recurring character. She was Marisol Delko and wife to David Caruso's character Horatio Caine. In NBC's dark, dramatic thriller Do No Harm she played her character as Dr. Lena Solis. After two short episodes it was cancelled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her younger sister Cory was born 10 years older than her. The family she was raised in was a religious and conservative family. Milano's professional career started at seven, when her babysitter took her to an audition. Milano was among four girls chosen from thousands of hopefuls. Milano appeared in TV commercials as well as off Broadway programs, such as the American first musical adaptation to Jane Eyre.
